About Hiateus

Hiateus is a travel decision-support tool. Instead of searching destinations yourself across a dozen flight-comparison tabs, you tell Hiateus where you’re leaving from and a few circumstances about your trip — when you can go, who’s coming, and what it can cost — and it returns one recommended destination, priced and dated, with the reasoning shown.

• Hiateus reads fare estimates, weather, and your date flexibility for the destinations it models.
• It scores those destinations against what you told it — budget, party size, and trip length.
• It hands back one Hiateus Pick, not a list to compare yourself against — with the fare, the weather, and the reasoning behind the choice shown alongside it.

Hiateus is in an early build. Houston (IAH) is currently the only departure market it fully models with real flight data — that’s the honest state of the product today, not a limitation we’re hiding. More departure markets are the plan as the destination and fare data behind Hiateus grows.
