How experience purchases will work
Hiateus hands you off to the actual provider for payment — it never processes payment itself.
Once a real experience has a provider link, choosing "Get Tickets" (or "Reserve", for a direct local partner) first takes you to a Hiateus-branded "You're All Set" page — never straight to an outside site. That page tells you which provider you're headed to, shows what you're about to do and when, and includes a short reminder that Hiateus doesn't process your payment and never stores your card details.
From there, "Continue" sends you to the actual provider's own site to complete payment. Hiateus sends you elsewhere for one simple reason: it isn't a ticketing or reservations company, and it never pretends to be — the provider you're sent to is who actually holds the inventory and handles your payment.
As of today, this flow exists and is fully built, but no experience currently has a real provider link — every Out & About experience is a modeled example (see Understanding experience information), so "Get Tickets" doesn't appear yet. This article describes the architecture Hiateus built in advance of connecting a real provider, not something you can use yet.
Even once real experience listings from a provider like Viator become available to browse, actually completing a purchase through Hiateus is a separate step that turns on later, once Hiateus is fully ready to support real transactions — browsing real listings and being able to buy through them aren't the same milestone.
